Capstone Project - EverGlitch was the year long project my class did together to release a full fletched game by the time we graduated, each person had their specific roles, and I was responsible for Enemy AI & Customized Systems.
Melee AI - The Rock Golem was a melee & ranged based enemy, who prioritized melee attacks and would alert other enemies of your location when provoked, this was called Pack Tactics and could land you in some hot water if not accounted for carefully.
Ranged AI - The Elemental Imp was strictly a ranged enemy, being able to fly above the Rock Golems, its various elemental attacks could freeze the player, stun them, or burn them. These tricky enemies helped to balance the flow of combat when paired with the Rock Golems.
Dropped Items & Effects - As well as making the enemy AI, I designed and developed the drop system and the effects for the items, such as, health potions, movement speed, jump height, and increased attack potions.
